Bespoke Exhibition Stand
UK office of the German group profine GmbH (profine UK) entrusted 01EX and top brand consultancy agency Switch to develop and deliver their vision for promoting their global leading brand Kömmerling at the FIT Show 2019, UK’s only dedicated event for the window, door, flat glass, and components market.
01EX, as part of a concerted team effort, oversaw the bespoke exhibition stand design, manufacturing, lighting, graphics production and decoration for the exhibition. The provided principles for the design were clear, profine UK wanted more than just displaying Kömmerling products. It was important to guide visitors in a journey, to tell them a story with their products. Equally important was to capture the true essence of their “Global Player Local Partner” business culture, provide a platform to showcase their partnerships and offer a hint of what it is to come soon.
Our team of designers started by looking at profine’s GmbH corporate/global image (their corporate DNA). Based on shapes, colours and features used for previous shows, our team designed a stand that included: a reception area to signify the starting point of the visitor’s journey, a corridor of Kömmerling products strategically selected and positioned to tell the story of the brand, an area where guests could learn more about the company’s partnerships and a showroom area to showcase the future. At the end of the journey, visitors, guests and friends were invited to celebrate UK and profine’s passion for “the beautiful game” football by having a drink (or two) at the stand’s built-in sports themed bar.

I can only echo what everyone has said – a truly fantastic bespoke exhibition stand for us and a glowing endorsement of Kommerling. I am very proud of the team spirit we have created and this will stand us in excellent stead for the months and years ahead. I would like to extend my thanks to Richard & Kayleigh at Zero1 and in turn the stand building team for the excellent job they completed. Whilst this may have been the climax to an award winning campaign we must now ensure we continue the momentum.
